What is Agentic AI?

Agentic AI refers to AI systems that pursue a goal over multiple steps — planning, using tools, and acting — rather than just responding to a single prompt. An agentic system might receive a request, research it, draft a response, update your records, and follow up, looping until the job is done. It's the difference between a chatbot and a digital worker.
