What is Fine-tuning?

Fine-tuning is training an existing AI model further on your own examples so it adapts to a specific style, task, or domain. Unlike RAG — which supplies facts at answer time — fine-tuning changes the model's behavior. For most business use cases, RAG plus good prompting is faster, cheaper, and easier to update than fine-tuning.
